Removes phytic acid<br \/>\nExperts advise soaking mangoes in water for 1-2 hours, gets rid of the phytic acid present in the fruit. This acid acts as an anti-nutrient, hinders mineral absorption in the body and generates heat in body<\/p>\n<p>2. Prevents health complications<br \/>\nSoaking mangoes also helps with reducing health problems like acne, headaches, skin rashes, constipation, and other gut-related issues.<\/p>\n<p>3. Helps with digestion<br \/>\nAyurveda and modern science both advise soaking mangoes in water. According to Ayurveda, mangoes have cooling properties and can aid digestion and inflammation of the gut.<\/p>\n<p>4. Better hydration<br \/>\nMango is a hydrating summer fruit. Soaking it in water boosts its water content and provides much-needed hydration to the body.<\/p>\n<p>5. Clean peel<br \/>\nSoaking mangoes in water helps get rid of any dirt or impurities from the mango peel. It also makes it soft and easier to remove from the fruit.<\/p>\n<p>Another aspect as described in the Sarala Mahabharata. It was written by Sarala Das known as the &#8220;aadikavi&#8221; (the first poet) of Oriya Literature. He lived and wrote in the 15th Century. Mahabharat is his magnum opus. The episodes in Sarala&#8217;s Mahabharat are significantly different from those in Vyasa&#8217;s (Sanskrit) Mahabharat. One day Duryodhana conferred with Sakuni, Karna, and Dussasana about what should be done since for seven long years he had had no news of the Pandavas. He was wondering whether they had perished in hunger, or in the hands of some demon in the forest. Sakuni said that without unnecessarily worrying about what might have happened to the Pandavas, he should relax and enjoy life, now that his enemies had disappeared. But Duryodhana didn\u2019t agree; he felt that they should try to find out the truth about the Pandavas.
