The 12-3-30 treadmill workout can be a great alternative for fat loss and toning

Most of us either love or loathe the treadmill. But jumping on one of the best treadmills can be great for fat loss, fitness levels and even our mental health.

And while there are lots of fat-burning treadmill workouts out there, one particular approach has gained lots of attention recently: the aforementioned 12-3-30 treadmill workout.

Created by influencer Lauren Giraldo, the workout is essentially a fat-burning hike on a steep gradient, and is said to burn tons of calories in just 30 minutes.

Fans of the workout regularly sing its praises on social media, with one recent tweet reading: ‘My waist really went down 1.5 inches in like 2 weeks from doing 12 3 30 every day.’

Meanwhile, one Instagram user posted: ‘I did this in the gym in 2019! I didn’t know it was thing until now. But lost 30lbs doing it!’
